White Horse Contractors gear up for a busy 2012

10 v22012 has started as a busy year for Oxfordshire based White Horse Contractors, with some projects being carried over from the previous year, but also a pleasing number of new contracts having been won for season ahead.

Currently, the company is operating on five school sites in South London, constructing natural and artificial sports facilities as well as hard and soft landscaping around the newly constructed buildings so that they are presented in immaculate condition for handover to the client.

In addition to these projects, the company is also busy with sports projects in Birmingham, Cheltenham and Swindon as well as West and North London.

White Horse Contractors (Northern) continues to go from strength to strength with a very strong order book of sports construction projects across the northern counties. Recently, the company handed over a substantial new sports pitch development in Salford, Manchester which incorporated a high specification reinforced natural grass stadium pitch as well as a full size fenced and floodlit 3G artificial training pitch.

White Horse Contractor's international experience, together with their reputation for constructing difficult projects to the highest of standards, were also instrumental in their recent appointment for a private client on the Cote D'Azur in Southern France where existing lawns are being removed and reconstructed, incorporating new drainage schemes and the importing of over 5000m³ of high specification sports grade gravels and rootzones.

Equipped for the 21st century, the company owns, maintains and operates a modern fleet of plant and equipment, undertaking a diversity of operations including design and construction of natural and artificial sports turf facilities, water management projects and specialist pipeline drainage installations.
