Artificial Surface Maintenance - a straightforward approach

SCH (Supplies) Ltd have an Artificial Surface Maintenance Package to make life easier for the groundsman, providing the main constituents needed to give the playing surface its routine maintenance.

The system comprises a Countax or Westwood Tractor, either brand new or an A1 pre-owned unit. Attachments included in the price are a scarifying brush, a levelling lute and a scarifying rake.

There is a weight tray on the main frame which can be used to increase downward pressure if desired. SCH say that the unit can also be used on natural turf surfaces. A rear lift lever is incorporated so that the tools can be easily lifted out of work when required.

Other useful items you may want to consider as add-ons to your package include the rubber drag mat, the deep grooming unit, the triangle brush and the sprayer.

SCH are in the process of developing their range of sports surface products, having had requests from customers to design and build various machines.

Grooming rakes, sweepers, de-compaction rakes and chemical applicators are available, as well as a Honda powered rotary brush. More products will be unveiled throughout the year which can be viewed on the website www.schsupplies.co.uk.
