SXG Family 9462Ransomes Jacobsen, the Ipswich-based turf maintenance equipment manufacturer, has appointed CLS Selfdrive of Park Farm, Dunsdale, near Guisborough in Cleveland as a non-exclusive Iseki dealer for northeast England.

CLS began trading in 1968, becoming a limited company in 1978, and now operates in landscaping, grounds maintenance, sports field construction, maintenance and drainage, both natural & synthetic, and hire equipment, operated and non-operated.

Operating from a purpose-built workshop at Park Farm they offer services that include new and used sales, short and long term hire and hire purchase of related equipment. CLS also has a team of experienced engineers providing excellent after sales and service support.

John Miller, managing director at CLS said, "We are thrilled to have been appointed an Iseki dealer for Ransomes Jacobsen. We view this opportunity as a natural progression for the business and our experience and synergy within the hire sector will be a major benefit."

Rupert Price, UK & Ireland sales manager at Ransomes Jacobsen said, "We are delighted to welcome CLS into the Ransomes Jacobsen community. They are the 13th non-exclusive Iseki dealer that we have appointed this year as we grow this important part of the business. We know that local dealers are what our customers in this tractor/mower and compact tractor sector demand and we are happy to satisfy this demand, going forward.

"The appointment of Steve Barnfather in the role of trade sales manager at the beginning of 2010 is now reaping results and we currently have 56 dealers across the UK offering the Iseki product, with a further 18 due to sign up in the first quarter of 2011. Steve will be working closely with Andrew Willis of CLS, as they look to develop and promote the brand in the northeast of England."
