Bridging the gap between science and practice

STRI's new training courses for 2004 aim to bridge the gap between science and practice.

Three programmes are planned for November all taking place in Bingley to take advantage of STRI's on site laboratories and extensive trial grounds.

Each programme has been designed for a specific target audience including; grounds managers, greenkeepers, parks managers and professional gardeners.

10th November 2004……………. Putting Science into Practice in Your Grounds and Parkland
£125 plus VAT

15 - 19th November 2004…………………..Putting Science into Practice on Your Golf Course
£110 plus VAT per day module

22 - 26th November 2004……………….Putting Science into Practice on Your Sports Ground
£110 plus VAT per day module

The training courses for golf and sports turf have been split into 5 consecutive one day modules. All three programmes will provide information on the latest techniques, new research and current issues surrounding management and maintenance.

Discounts are available for multi-bookings and for STRI Subscribers. An overnight accommodation package is available on request.
