BTME 2014 is already a record-breaking show as the industry makes its final preparations to head to Harrogate for the turf management event of the year.

Pre-registration has broken the 2,300 barrier for the first time in the event's history, we've taken the unprecedented step of repeating one of our most popular seminars on our Continue to Learn education programme and a total of 123 exhibitors will be on show as the Harrogate International Centre becomes the hub of the industry.

For a full list of exhibitors and hall plans visit www.btme.org.uk.

As a last-minute reminder, our education programme commences in the HIC's Queen's Suite on Sunday 18 January and spans over 180 hours of first-class seminars, presentations and workshops over four days, finishing on the Wednesday. We're expecting over 2,000 turf professionals to attend Continue to Learn, all picking up vital knowledge and increasing their skill sets.

Don't forget to visit the BIGGA team on Stand B23 which features the Job Shop, the opportunity to buy BIGGA merchandise, and you can purchase a wristband to support our new Greenkeepers Benevolent Fund.

You'll also be able to find out more about our Learning & Development programme so if you're looking for training, course advice or more on our relaunched Continuing Professional Development, B23 is the place to be.

After the exhibition on Tuesday, why not head to the Royal Hall at the HIC for our Welcome Celebration featuring Peter Alliss? Kindly sponsored by Jacobsen, this new, free event will celebrate the achievements of greenkeepers and BIGGA in 2013 and will feature a keynote speech from the voice of golf himself - it starts at 5.30pm.

There is a busy media schedule featuring new product launches, innovations and the amazing charity efforts of the greenkeepers embarking on 'The Hard Road to Harrogate'…follow their progress and donate to this extremely worthy cause at www.bmycharity.com/HardRoadToHarrogate.

If you're planning a one-day visit, why not head to Harrogate on Thursday? This could be your perfect opportunity to chat to exhibitors and find out more about their products and innovations just before everything closes for another year.

All that remains is for everyone at BIGGA to wish absolutely everybody heading to North Yorkshire for BTME 2014 a safe journey and we look forward to welcoming you!
