Dan Humphreys has worked in the sports industry for nearly 10 years, leaving school he joined Hyde CC as the junior grounds man. After just 2 seasons at Hyde, Daniel was taken on by a local sports ground contractor - Bancroft amenities LTD. Here Dan learnt his trade as a grounds man and covered the length and breadth of the country working on sports ground maintenance and construction.
During his 7 years at Bancroft it was clear that Daniel had a passion for cricket in particular the non-turf training facilities that Bancroft's installed. Dan worked his way from apprentice to Non-Turf Pitch Co-ordinator. In this role he helped developed many ideas and improved training facilities for the better. Also in this role he was required to manage and quality assure all works carried out on site.
