Eccleshall rolled out the red carpet to welcome Keith Kent, head groundsman at Twickenham.

Eccleshall were one of a few clubs chosen to get five-star treatment and Kent spent the best part of an afternoon at Baden Hall.

The top man at Twickers met Eccleshall's team of groundsmen, led by prop forward and local farmer Rob Deane, discussing the work that has been done in the last 12 months.

The work has included the creation of two new pitches to be played on next season and an enlarged training area.

Kent, who spent 15 years tending the turf at Manchester United before joining the RFU, was impressed with what he saw.
