The Wessex CountryLine FL flail mower has been around for a while now and the latest model cuts a reputation as a tough performer, in a long tradition of heavy-duty machines. Controlling dense vegetation and long grass, caring for woodland walking riding paths and tracks, and general smallholding work calls for a substantially built mower.

The Wessex FL features heavy-duty flails and a full width roller, heavy cast gearbox and drive belts that act as shock overload protection. There are two models, in 1.25m and 1.5m working widths. The offset on these flail mowers is mechanical but if you want hydraulic side shift the FLS models offer just that, to easily get round obstacles such as trees and posts. They come with a heavier build and extremely durable mechanics and offer flail cutting with the minimum of effort for the operator.

The sideways travel is 280mm and the mowers are available in 1.55m and 1.85m working widths. Whichever you choose, you're safe knowing you have the build quality that Wessex apply to all the accessories in the CountryLine range.
