Who are you? Andy Gray. Grounds Manager, Southampton FC.

Family status? Married to Rachael for 8 years. Two daughters Sophie (5) and Katie (4).

Who's your hero and why? Alessandro Del Piero. Just loved watching him play football.

What would you change about yourself? Nothing! I'm not perfect, but I am quite happy with my lot!

What's your guilty pleasure? Big Brother. Each and every series.

What's been the highlight of your career so far? Achieving my first Groundsman of the Year nomination whilst at AFC Bournemouth in 2005-06

Which three people, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party? Alessandro of course, my wife and Rob Jones (ex Liverpool defender)

Do you have any bad habits? Youll have to ask my wife or even my work colleagues!

... or any good ones? Hopefully loads!

Do you go to bed worrying about the next day's workload? I'll be thinking about it, but not worrying.

What are you reading at the moment? The questions on this interview!

What are your pet peeves? Lorries overtaking on the motorway, middle lane hoggers and people that don't indicate.Common theme going on here!

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? Anfield.

What's the best part of your job? Being outdoors and being solely responsible for the decisions I make on all aspects of my job.

… and the worst? The cold, damp, dark weather of the winter months.

Do you have a lifetime ambition? For myself and my family to simply remain healthy and comfortable for as long as we live.

Favourite record, and why? Live Forever by Oasis. They are my favourite band and that's my favourite song by them.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? My wife.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Pay off my mortgage

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? Not describing myself as one, but I'd be a steel pan drum so I could live in the Caribbean.

What's the best advice you have ever been given? Roots don't grow in the soil, they grow in the gaps (air) in the soil.

What's your favourite smell? The smell from a bakery

What do you do in your spare time? Family or watch football.

What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? Which way up does the seed go when you plant it?

What's your favourite piece of kit? Tor Procore 648

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Quiet, assertive, often quite cynical.

What talent would you like to have? A footballer.

What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? Lorries not allowed to overtake!
