Following a very successful first year of an innovative educational partnership, Myerscough College and Pitchcare have signed up to continue their collaborative arrangement. The Lancashire based College is recognised as being one of the foremost educational establishments for land-based and sportsturf qualifications.

The partnership with Pitchcare is a significant commitment by the college to strengthen and develop its reputation and services in the sportsturf market on a national and international basis, with growth in the College's national work based learning programmes and online degree courses viewed as key priorities.

Assistant Principal of Myerscough College, Peter Caney, commented, "We are delighted to be renewing our educational partnership with Pitchcare and taking developments forward into a second year. Building on the firm partnership foundations of year 1, we are very much looking forward to exploring a range of exciting partnership opportunities this year, whilst working closely to promote training and education services to the sports turf market on a national and international basis."

Pitchcare Operations Director, John Richards, commented," There are a number of mutually beneficial opportunities of working with the UK's leading sports turf college and combining this expertise with Pitchcare's online prominence. Together, we will be developing and providing easier access to a range of training and educational services."

Pitchcare has an active membership of 50,000 plus, 17% of which is non-UK based. This global appeal is continuing to spread further: the successful development of Pitchcare Germany is now to be followed by the launch of Pitchcare Sweden later this year.
