New Toro irrigation sales manager

NEW TORO IRRIGATION SALES MANAGER FOR
RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING MARKETS

Reg Varney has joined Toro irrigation products distributor Lely UK, of St Neots, Cambs., as the company's irrigation sales manager for residential and commercial landscaping.

Toro is a top provider of irrigation systems to the UK golf and sports turf industries. And Reg Varney is responsible for creating and establishing a strong UK market for Toro irrigation products in the residential and commercial sectors.

He is also responsible for developing sales of Otterbine water aeration systems, fountains and other associated products for which Lely UK is also the distributor.

Markets for Toro irrigation systems and Otterbine's world-leading lake and pond water quality management systems complement each other well, with airports, hotels, commercial developments and business parks all good examples of the types of locations that are increasingly using irrigation and water in their landscapes to beautify their settings.

Reg Varney said: "I am very pleased to be joining the Lely UK team. My aim is to explore and expand specific markets for Toro irrigation and Otterbine products and to build an awareness of their product ranges. This also means strengthening our relationships with contractors, specifiers and architects, who are a vital link to the customer."

His previous experience includes three years as an irrigation service engineer with Turf Irrigation Services, in Sandbach, Cheshire.

Reg Varney is married with a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter. He lives in Whitwick, Leicestershire.
