Ordsall Leisure Centre wins February’s outstanding sports venue award

Salford's Ordsall Leisure Centre has won February's MyLocalPitch Outstanding Sports Venue Award.

The venue, situated on Craven Drive, is operated by Salford Community Leisure and has some of the finest facilities across Greater Manchester. Visitors have access to a multi-purpose sports hall, a dance studio, a gymnastics and trampolining centre, indoor bowls and a full size 3g Astroturf pitch suitable for 7/9 and full size games. There is also a multi-sensory room providing a relaxing environment for people of all ages and abilities and the venue is a centre of gymnastic excellence.

February's grassroots award, which is determined by MyLocalPitch users, is based on pitch quality, venue amenities and customer experience.
