Paul Berresford joins Ransomes Jacobsen

Paul Berresford has joined Ransomes Jacobsen as the UK Regional Sales Manager for MEGA Vehicles. Reporting to John Quinton, the company's UK and Ireland Sales Manager, he will be responsible for the UK sales of the MEGA range of eco-friendly compact utility vehicles.

Allied to this, Paul will also be responsible for expanding the dealer network to provide additional touch points across the UK.

Paul is a veteran of the materials handling industry having spent more than 20 years in sales and marketing roles in the forklift truck sector working with some the industry's biggest companies including Linde, Toyota and Jungheinrich.

He also has experience of the garden machinery industry having spent three years with a small dealer selling domestic mowers, chainsaws, brush-cutters, headge trimmer and ancillary equipment.

He is married with two adult children and lives in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Commenting on his appointment John Quinton said, "Paul has a wide knowledge of the materials handling sector, which is a similar market in that 50% of all forklift truc

ks are electric.

Most are financed through contract hire and his understanding of the range of finance options available to prospective customers will be an asset to our business.
