Phoenix flies to new heights

Phoenix Turf Care a supplier of products and advisory services to Golf, Cricket, Bowling Greens and all amenity sports areas has been sold for an undisclosed amount on 1st Dec 2014.

This was owned and run by Ivan and Rosalind Toon for the last 14 years, who are now retiring, and has been acquired by Jason Garlick of JMG Amenity Ltd., from Quorn, Leicestershire.

Jason has operated his own successful contract spraying business for the last 6 years and was keen to add a new dimension to his company in the way of an established going concern. He has a wealth of experience in pesticides and is BASIS qualified.

He brings new impetus and enthusiasm to the business and will be looking forward to meeting the loyal customers who have supported the business over the last decade and a half. "I am excited by what feels like a very natural progression for me. I will be able to provide a wider range of services for my existing customers as well as continuing the service that Ivan provided in the past to the Phoenix customers."
