Pitch-in project completed at Exeter City

Longstanding Trustee and former Trust Chairman Tony Badcock co-ordinated the fundraising process which involved a huge amount of planning and effort.

The pitch had previously seen a lack of investment over the years and drainage issues had made the surface unplayable at times along the flanks and Paul Tisdale met with the club board in early 2010 and outlined the importance of the pitch in the future development of the team.

So Pitch In was born and nearly two years later it has drawn to a close and Supporters' Trust chairman Andy Cole took this opportunity to thank everyone for their tremendous work.

"Today marks the end of a major fundraising initiative and I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all those concerned," he said.

"This just goes to show this really is a community club with a great feeling of togetherness and a fantastic can do approach to the challenges we face.
