Tom, who has worked in both the UK and Australia, describes his time on a two-year HNC Business Studies evening course at Telford College of Arts and Technology in an article for the college.

"As I have been out of education for some time it was really good to get back into learning again. At first it was a bit of a shock to the system, but I soon got into the swing of things. The course has been challenging yet rewarding," Tom says.

Tom, who has previously studied a BTEC in Sports Science, is looking to expand his role, and needed to achieve a higher level of qualification to do so.

"For people that are working in a business environment I would highly recommend this course; it was a challenge trying to fit in all the assignments and work a 40 hour week, but the end result was well worth it. I learnt so much about all aspects of business which has been a huge benefit to my day to day job role."
