Practice is Perfect at Hibs

A SR72 Soil Reliever is leaving a perfect finish at the new Hibernian FC training facility. The facility was constructed and now maintained by Alan J Bain Contractors and officially opened in December 2007.

The excellent facilities at the East Lothian ground include 6 full size pitches, an artificial surface and indoor training areas. Head Groundsman, Bobby Forest, and Alan Bain (Alan J Bain Contractors) had no hesitation in selecting the SR72 for their deep aeration needs. 'We went for the Soil Reliever primarily for its ease of operation and the basic, simple maintenance requirements', commented Alan. Bobby Forest agrees, adding 'The aeration process leaves a perfect surface, so training can resume straight away with no further clean-up or maintenance'.

The Soil Reliever and new John Deere tractor where supplied by local dealer Thomas Sherriff & Co. Richard Scott (General Manager) was very pleased to be able to supply the new facility, 'We have been working closely with Alan J Bain Contractors for a number of years, but are particularly delighted to be able to supply the Soil Reliever and tractor to Hibernian's fantastic new training centre'.
