SGM Contracts shortlisted for an award
SGM Contracts, a leading supplier of groundcare equipment, has made it to the final for the 'Success through Marketing and Sales Award' in this year's Fife Business Awards.
The award, sponsored by Fife Chamber of Commerce, recognises organisations' commitment to growing their business through innovative marketing and communications and a strong sales focus.
In today's ever-changing environment SGM has had to be proactive in its sales and marketing strategy, adapting its business model to meet the changing demands of the groundcare industry whilst targeting new markets, namely arborists and domestic home gardeners. In particular, SGM has been successful in implementing a robust and clearly defined online strategy, with the company's wide range of products now being promoted and sold via multiple online channels.

This Friday Steven will be accompanied by SGM'S Marketing Manager, Rebecca Russell, to present to the Fife Business Awards judging panel in the final stage of the competition. However, the company will have to wait until the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 15th November to find out if they are winners. The grand event will take place at Rothes Halls with comedian, Fred Macaulay presenting the awards.
