Wessex International has introduced new models to their range of trailed fertiliser spreaders.
Lawns, paddocks and driveways will all be taken care of with the Wessex FT-170T trailed spreader. Perfect for use behind ATV's and road vehicles, the spreader comes complete with a ball hitch and is ideal for spreading fertiliser and, using the optional winter kit, dry free-flowing salt to keep paths and drives open. The spinning disc spreader is mechanically driven via pneumatic tyred wheels and is made from stainless steel for durability. There's an agitator in the hopper to improve material flow.
A bigger brother to this general purpose spreader is the 270 litre FS-270 Wessex mounted spreader which is an excellent addition to any fleet of groundcare equipment. It's built to provide an economical yet extremely effective means of spreading fertiliser, seed, lime or dry, free-flowing salt. It connects easily to a tractor's three-point hitch and works directly off the PTO, thus eliminating any issues where ice and slippery surfaces can make traction difficult. The FS-270 provides a spread width of up to 14 metres and has the same durable features as its smaller towed version. It's easy to see why these spreaders have become highly rated among groundcare contractors and local authorities for their ease of use and spreading efficiency.
