Taunton School experience great results from Lebanon ProScape 20-0-5 Fertiliser
Mark Jolliffe is Head Groundsman at Taunton School. Mark and his team of six are responsible for looking after fourteen hectares of sports fields and formal gardens.
Taunton School was founded in 1847 and is an independent co-ed school for around 1100 pupils from ages 0 to 18 years. The school accommodates cricket, rugby, football, hockey, lacrosse, netball, tennis and rounders as well as all athletic disciplines and two golf practice greens. The school is also a thriving business and caters for conferences, seminars, weddings, parties and a host of other events as well as having a sports club membership. During the summer holidays, Taunton School is busy accommodating some 300 foreign language students, requiring the use of the grass pitches, two artificial pitches and hard sports courts. In addition to this, the school hosts outside lettings for summer school sport camps, including Arsenal Soccer School and Exeter City F.C. pre-season training.
Mark was delighted with the results "Lebanon ProScape has been excellent for us, delivering good initial spring growth, despite an exceptionally dry April in 2015, and a controlled release of nutrient which gave us steady growth over a three month period. This has provided excellent colour and vigour to our intensively used turf".
Lebanon ProScape 20-0-5 +1% Fe is a fast acting fertiliser with the controlled released feeding of MESA for extended longevity. The blend of nutrients and release technology makes it ideal to use early spring to kick start grass and throughout the spring and summer growing season. A higher proportion of urea in the blend means nutrients are available to the plant quickly, even at lower temperatures; encouraging good growth early in the season. The MESA granules are blue in colour, making it easier to see when spreading, even at lower volume rates.
