Grimsby Town groundsman Mike Phillips remains hopeful Saturday's FA Trophy tie with Redditch United will go ahead.

Phillips is now in his 31st year in the job and admits he has never known a spell like the past 12 months for snow on the Blundell Park surface.

But he continues to battle the elements and says there is every chance of getting Town's home tie at the weekend on if, as predicted, temperatures start to rise later this week.
