David Thompson Joins Trimax
Trimax Mowing Systems UK has announced the appointment of David Thompson as their new UK and Europe Manager.

Expansion is in the air at Trimax, as the company continues to make its mark in the groundscare market: David's appointment signals the second newly created role in a matter of weeks and follows the appointment of new European Supply Manager - Patrick O'Callaghan.

David will be responsible for ensuring that the Trimax European hub continues to achieve profitable growth in line with the proud company ethos of forming valuable enduring partnerships with the Trimax family. With experience in technical, high quality, market leading manufactured products, David's employment history has seen him working at companies such as Valor, Ingersoll Rand and Elwis; something which he believes will be of great benefit to him in his new role.

"I am fortunate to have gained a wide range of business experience, starting in sales (both UK and International), progressing to management of commercial support activities and then on to general management. I hope to be able to apply this to my role with Trimax," he said.

Trimax's rise can, in part, be attributed to the company's commitment to bringing innovation to the groundscare industry. 2014 saw the launch of Trimax's Snake rotary mower, which took the market by storm; and this year sees the arrival of the highly anticipated Warlord S3 - a heavy duty flail mulcher mower. Dealers across the UK and Europe are being treated to a continuous steam of high quality Trimax machinery and David is particularly keen on becoming familiar with some of the company's trusted dealers.

"I'm looking forward to getting to know and working closely with our dealer network and to build on the success we have enjoyed together so far.

"Though there is a great deal to learn, I am keen to get to grips with the challenges and opportunities of managing Trimax through the next growth phase and I am looking forward to becoming involved in and getting a deeper understanding of the groundscare industry," he said.

Commenting on David's appointment, Michael Sievwright, General Manager of Trimax, said: "I'm delighted that David has come on-board. He has gained great experience by working for some market leading companies and his management skills will prove to be extremely valuable.

"This is a fantastic industry to be involved in and I'm confident that David will be up to speed in no time. He's the right person to help us continue progressing in the right direction."
