Active Ingredients: - 450g/l glyphosate present as 607 g/l (50.5% w/w) of the isopropylamine salt.
Asteroid Pro 450 is a glyphosate total weed killer, which is an extremely effective herbicide when used as directed against most annual and perennial grassed and broad-leaved weeds.
Asteroid Pro Weed Killer is an advanced glyphosate formula, featuring Envision technology. Envision® technology is a unique formula created by Cheminova, it contains a specially developed surfactant system which enhances the uptake of glyphyosate into the plant. This provides the highest levels of herbicidal activity & rainfastness, whilst also delivering superior environment & operator safety.
The specially developed surfactant systems of Envision® Technology optimises the safety of Asteroid Pro, without compromising on field performance. Asteroid Pro is classified as neither harmful nor irritant to users. It is smooth to pour with minimal dripping and has low foaming characteristics in the sprayer tank.
Droplet Spectrum Control- Asteroid’s Envision® Technology contains a greater percentage of droplets, helping to reduce drift and produce a more consistent application and reliable efficacy compared to non-bio formulations.
Improved entry into the plant:
Improved translocation- Asteroid 450's unique formulation rapidly draws glysophate into the plant without stripping off the wax. Traditional formulas tend to aggressively strip the wax off of leaf surface in order to let glyphosate in, this causes some of the glysophate to become locked up, as the plant cells close down in response to the damage.

- Natural surfaces not intended to bear vegetation, permeable surfaces overlying soil, hard surfaces and land prior to cultivation - 1.2l/ha - 4.8l/ha
- Amenity Vegetation - 1.2l/ha - 4.0l/ha
- Orchards - 3.2l/ha - 4.0l/ha
- Aquatic Use - 4.0l/ha only
- Forestry - 2.4l/ha - 8.0l/ha
- 20% solution for stump application & chemical thinning
- 1.6ml neat application for chemical thinning by injection of tree stems
- Water volumes from 40l/ha, depending on situation.
