Philip Furner Manager of Binder's Loam discussed the suitability of the loam in a 2011 Pitchcare article. A statement from the article reads as follows;
"We have sourced material, had it analysed for it's suitability and ability to be successfully used on existing Kaloam pitches, and the loam will be produced to the same exacting standard as you have come to expect from Binders"
