In addition to visiting British Seed Houses' stand (A13) at Harrogate Week 2007, visitors to the show are invited to attend a presentation by its international guest, Todd Mason.

Todd is a renowned agronomist from the States and Vice President, Research and Agronomy of Zeba. Representing British Seed Houses, he'll give a presentation on 'Water Management through the use of Absorbent Polymers'.

He'll talk about the pressing issues of water conservation on golf courses and show how, in Canada, they have dramatically reduced their water usage, use of wetting agents and relieved compaction through the use of a natural water-retaining polymer.

British Seed Houses became UK distributors for 'Zeba' earlier this year. Used as a soil amendment, the granules help create the ideal conditions for overseeding. It aids germination by providing a continuous source of moisture and nutrients where they're needed most. It also enhances seed germination for fast divot repair and prevents nuisance dry spots on tees, fairways and greens with less hand labour and irrigation required.

The presentation will take place at 9.30am on Tuesday 23rd January in the Queen's Suite (above Hall C) at the Harrogate International Centre. It's free to attend and there's no need to pre-book.
