Andy Smith becomes 'Find me a job!' campaign's second success story
In an article published on 10th May, we revealed how the former Millwall and Spurs groundsman had been made redundant in April after 25 years in the industry. Since then he has carryied out gardening work in his local area in order to meet his financial commitments, but joins Peter Harsum at Whitgift School in Surrey from today.
Commenting on his appointment, Head Groundsman Stuart Webber said: 'We're delighted that Andy is joining us. Thank you for helping us find our second 1st class groundsman."
Andy also received employment offers from the trade, but said that his heart was in groundsmanship.

The Pitchcare team would like to wish Andy all the best for the future and to thank everyone who got in touch about job opportunities for him.
