Aquadyne offers drainage solutions to flooded grounds

Press Releasein Industry News

07692_before_installation_JPG.JPGEconoplas Limited, manufacturers of the innovative turf drainage solution, Aquadyne, has been inundated with enquiries, from owners of flooded sports
pitches and green spaces as a result of the terrible weather experienced over recent months.

Recent events, including Saltex 2007, has given local councils, landscape contractors and sports clubs the opportunity to see the product and discuss
future ventures with the company and as a result Econoplas Limited is following up an enormous amount of sales leads.

"The miserable weather that we have experienced recently has enabled businesses and local councils to realise that we have the answer to get their grounds dry again, permanently. Saltex was an amazing opportunity for us to promote Aquadyne and reach a wide interest base nationwide," explains Mr John Grindrod,
commercial manager of Econoplas Limited.

"With environmental issues constantly hitting the headlines, the exhibition was the ideal opportunity to promote Aquadyne's friendlier side towards the
environment as the revolutionary manufacturing technology helps reduce CO2 emissions. Approximately two tonnes of CO2 emissions is saved when 200 metres of Aquadyne is installed."

Aquadyne offers a unique macro-porous / micro-porous system that allows storm water to drain into the ground and move laterally minimising soil and root
migration.

The open pore structure, created using recycled plastic, fights against clogging, settlement and infiltration failure and the material is lightweight, yet extremely durable, with a flow rate that is ten times greater than sand.07692_after_installation_JPG.JPG

The non-toxic recycled drainage material is extremely easy to install. It comes in one-metre strips, weighing approximately 5 kilos and no heavy machinery is
required.

To see Aquadyne at work visit www.econoplas.com and see the hundreds of golf courses, football pitches, and national parks that have installed the product.
