BLEC reports US success at 'positive' GIS in Las Vegas
Showing the BLEC Multivator and their Laser Grader on the stand, managing director Gary Mumby said: "The mood was very positive. "We saw visitors from all over the world and have set up several new distributors to handle our range of landscaping and turfcare equipment in the US."
"As well as huge interest in the Laser Grader and Multivator we also received a high level of enquiries about our seeding machines - particularly the new close-spaced seeder launched at Harrogate."
Gary was on the stand with wife Sue. "We had a tremendous response to our specialist sportsturf products," she said.
ABOUT BLEC'S LATEST GOLF AND SPORTSTURF PRODUCTS
BLEC MULTIVATOR
The BLEC Multivator is the answer to the growing demand for de-compacting and topdressing by recycling natural buried and existing soil/sand up to the surface - saving time and money from importing materials. The specially designed blades lift some soil and leave the unwanted stones buried for a clean finish.
A Powered brush or optional rake incorporates the soil dressing and finally a rear smooth roller gently firms the surface, ideal for golf fairways.
BLEC LASER GRADER
The BLEC Laser Grader has proved itself invaluable in preparing level areas for fine turf and is particularly popular with contractors building or renovating golf course tees.
Models are available from 1.5metres wide up to 3metres and are ideal for compact and mid-range tractors.
All models are equipped for dual grading with wide rear four-wheel tyre assemblies, drawbar and three point linkage as standard.
The laser grader has bolt-on cutting edges and Danfoss proportional or solenoid valves. The ripping tine frames are fitted with depth adjustable tines and grading accuracy is to within 3mm.
BLEC DISC SEEDERS
BLEC launched a new range of disc seeders at Harrogate with close 4cm disc spacings, designed to produce a denser sward in a one pass operation, ideal for the golf course.
