Book your place to see Blinder Bunker Liner installation at Close House
Following the successful launch at Harrogate Week of Blinder, an innovative new concept in golf bunker lining, directors Penny & Murray Long and their team invite golf course managers and their club secretaries or greens chairmen to observe an installation for the first time.
Commencing at 10am, work will continue throughout the morning on Wednesday 6th April 2011 at Close House Hotel, Heddon on the Wall, Newcastle upon Tyne. When travelling to the hotel using a sat nav, the post code to use is NE41 8BL.
As the course will be in use, places are limited. Those wishing to attend are asked to email penny@theblinder.com to reserve their place. A second demonstration may take place in the afternoon if there is sufficient demand. The Blinder team will be available to answer any questions and refreshments will be provided.

The liner is carefully hand laid and sculpted to follow the contours of the bunker base to give an even, uniformed layer, which after being allowed to set, also has excellent drainage qualities.
Its flexibility sets Blinder apart from other bunker products. If it is struck by a golf club, it is strong enough to withstand the impact, but flexible enough to prevent damage to the club or the golfer. It also allows for the expansion and contraction of soils caused by differing climatic conditions.
