Campey Turf Care Systems brings new products for natural and synthetic turf to BTME 2012
A new year and a new approach. Campey Turf Care Systems are broadening their product lines to include machines for both natural and synthetic turf. Richard Campey has always been an advocate of best practice and this applies to all aspects of grounds care including the recent developments in synthetic surfaces.
The T.I.P. (Turf Improvement Products) is a range of simple, robust implements which can be attached and operated behind any small power unit. These products will ensure the greens, tees, fairways and sports fields, natural and synthetic, are aerated, swept, brushed, spiked and seeded easily, efficiently and economically.
Also at BTME for the first time are recent introductions such as the Coremaster Xtreme aerators. These exceptional machines always produce perfect vertical aeration holes with no distortion or disturbance of any sports turf surface including fine turf or fairways.
The Imants GreenWave takes the tried and tested 'Shockwave' principal and applies it in a moderated form to fine-turf playing surfaces such as greens, tees and bowling greens. It has been adapted and designed specifically to tackle compaction in fine turf areas where minimum disruption is essential.
A small, lightweight, tractor-mounted linear decompactor, the Imants GreenWave is ideal for compact tractors from 24-30hp to relieve compaction to a depth of 150mm, using 8mm thick, forged steel blades.
Two exciting new models of the Field TopMaker from Koro by Imants will be shown for the first time. The 1200 and 1500 Field TopMaker are heavy duty fraise mowers ideal for removing unwanted surface matter such as poa-annua, thatch, weeds or the entire surface to a depth of 50mm, or fitted with the deep scarification rotor can deep scarify/linear aerate up to 50mm deep with 2mm or 3mm blades.
Other machines on display include: Dakota Electric Top Dresser, Vredo Supa Compact including the new Vredo Turf-Fix which enables you to overseed at 35mm spacings as well as injecting sand into the golf green surface.
