Change of name for leading seed breeder Advanta Seeds

Press Releasein Industry News

Limagrain UK logo.jpgSeed breeder Advanta Seeds has changed its trading name to Limagrain UK as from December 1st 2008. However there are no changes to the distribution or quality of the Company's two leading brand ranges of amenity grass seed mixtures - MM and Designer.

In 2005, Advanta Seeds was taken over by the international French group Limagrain, Europe's largest seeds company. At the time it was decided to retain the Advanta name due to the good reputation already established under the brand. However, for consistency with the Group's other 36 subsidiaries worldwide, the decision has now been made to change over to the Limagrain name.

More information on Limagrain UK's amenity grass range can be found at the website or by contacting the commercial office at Witham St Hughs in Lincolnshire on 01522 861300.
