Dennis & Sisis Turf Care Seminar
The 2012 Dennis and Sisis Turf Care Seminar programme sailed into the Isle of Man with a very successful and well attended day at the Ballafletcher Sports Club.
Dennis & Sisis were pleased with the event and their well proven format certainly drew in the crowds. Over 70 people attended the day which encompassed a mix of technical presentations and demonstrations 'on the pitch'.
Mike Atherton from King William College was delighted that Dennis & Sisis chose the Isle of Man. "We've never had an event like this here before," he commented. "It's not been for the lack of trying, but the wait has been worthwhile. Having been aware of the Dennis & Sisis seminars, which are held all over the country, I can only offer my thanks to them for their level of commitment to their customers and Groundsmanship in general, by way of committing so much effort in coming to the Isle of Man. We're all so pleased to have been able to take part in such a successful seminar."
Sentiments echoed by Allan Pizer from The Douglas Borough Council who 'gained a huge amount of useful information and remarked on the brilliant speakers.'
George Platt, Instructor and NPTC Assessor gave his views, "This has been a well organised seminar. No time has been wasted and plenty of information has been imparted. There was a good choice of topics and a good selection of machinery."
It was left for Mike Atherton to sum up, "It is a pleasure for us on the Island to play host to all the speakers and companies involved. The delegates got a lot out of the day - thanks to Dennis & Sisis."
