Downsman Bowls demo for Graden

More than 40 groundsmen and greenkeepers from Sussex and Surrey gathered at the Downsman Bowls Club in Crawley last week to see the latest offering from the Graden stable in the hands of importer Keith Kensett of Kensett Sports Ltd.

"We had a wide range of people here to see what the Sand Injector can do." Explained organiser Bill Ledger who continued, "There were several golf greenkeepers, plenty of professional groundsmen and a whole lot of amateur groundsmen like me who look after many bowling greens across the south east."

Kensett was similarly impressed with the numbers at the West Green based club, "Half of Sussex and Surrey were there. It's always interesting to see where these guys come from and what they expect of new technology. In this case I am certain that almost everyone went away impressed with what we can achieve." Ledger went further and believes that at least one golf club will be buying a machine and another group of clubs will be buying one between them in the not too distant future.
