Master madrid 2010.jpgWhen Luke Donald won the European Tour's Madrid Masters back in May, it was on a course prepared exclusively with Jacobsen turf maintenance equipment, supplied by Ransomes Jacobsen's Spanish distributor, Green Mowers of Burgos. Ransomes Jacobsen, a Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT) company, is based in Ipswich and is one of the leading turf maintenance equipment manufacturers worldwide.

Javier Calderon, the Director of Golf at Hipica said, "I was very grateful and delighted with the support we received from Green Mowers, both in the lead up to the event and during the four days play. The course looked immaculate and we received numerous complimentary comments about the condition from the Tour players."

Rosendo Ferrer Dalmau, managing director of Green Mowers added, "Real Sociedad Hipica Espanola Club de Campo is a prestigious client in our portfolio and we have worked closely with them now for several years. We were determined to demonstrate our commitment to them and to the European Tour with a complete tournament support package to ensure that the course played as well as possible."

The prestigious 36-hole Real Sociedad Hipica Espanola Club de Campo features two courses - North and South, both designed by Robert Von Hagge, and is situated in naturally undulating and sometimes hilly terrain. Other facilities include tennis courts, a riding club, swimming pools, a youth club, a summer camp and a golf school.
