Everris co-sponsors 2013 Don Harradine Memorial Tournament

Held at the 18-hole Bled Golf & Country Club in Slovenia this year, the 14th Don Harradine Memorial Trophy drew golf course greenkeepers from right across Europe.

Held in memory of renowned golf course architect Donald Harradine (1911-1996), this annual three-day event is a lasting reminder of his support for the greenkeeper's professional values.

He believed greenkeepers deserved better recognition for their work on golf courses and in 1968 founded the International Greenkeeper's Association (IGA).

Simon Taylor, Everris' Product & Business Development Manager for Grass Seeds, attended the tournament and comments, "Everris has supported the tournament before and so we were delighted to be a co-sponsor again this year.

This enjoyable event offers a platform for golf professionals to meet and address technical issues involved in creating and maintaining world class courses."

Specifically created by Greenkeeper's Associations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia, the tournament rotates yearly on a Don Harradine course in these four countries.
