Everris trio’s FACTS and BASIS success

Two members of staff at Everris, the leading manufacturer of turf and amenity fertilizers, have completed Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme (FACTS) training and examination, meaning they are all now FQAs - FACTS Qualified Advisers.

Colman Warde, Everris' Country Manager for Ireland and Simon Hardcastle, Technical Area Sales Manager for northern England, undertook four intensive training days in November delivered by Dr David Lawson from STRI.

Lewis Blois, Technical Area Sales Manager for the Eastern counties and parts of the East Midlands, also successfully passed his BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection (Amenity Horticulture), the recognised statutory qualification for pesticide sellers, suppliers and advisers.

BASIS is an independent standards-setting and auditing organisation for the pesticide, fertilizer and allied industries. It offers a range of recognised qualifications for people working in those sectors, including the BASIS and FACTS schemes, and manages the Professional Register for qualified advisers.
