This will involve one of the College's Work Based Assessor visiting him at the club on a regular basis and teaching him the basics of Sportsturf, allowing him to earn as he learns. Ashley will be working as part of a team maintaining the superb playing surface at Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium as well as their training facilities in Fleetwood.
Living only a stone's throw away from Highbury, the position is a dream come true for Ashley who is a lifelong fan of the club.

Dale Frith said "I am really pleased to be offering Ashley this opportunity. I studied at Myerscough College myself and the quality of training is first class. It's nice to be giving something back and this is hopefully the start of a great career for Ashley within the industry."
Fleetwood Town is the latest in a long list of Football Clubs from around the country to use Myerscough College as their chosen college for Sportsturf training. These include Arsenal, Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers, Everton, Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.
