Kirkby Tyres offers their widest range of turf tyres at Saltex
Kirkby Tyres Ltd, from Speke, Liverpool will be showing BKT tyres alongside Alliance tyres for the first time at Saltex 2010 (Stand No. R 27a).
The combined ranges of tyres and wheels for the turf and amenity markets makes Kirkby Tyres one of the largest suppliers of specialist tyres to the industry and one of the most competitive in the marketplace.
Kirkby Tyres have been the sole UK & Ireland agents for the extensive range of Alliance tyres for many years and have a proven record of performance and reliability in the agricultural, earthmover and amenity markets. A wide representative sample of amenity and turf tyres from Alliance will be exhibited at Saltex including the A380 and A390 hi-speed steel belted radial flotation tyre which combine the best of a flotation tyre with the best of radial construction characteristics suitable for on and off road vehicles, trailers & dumpers.
The A390 has a block pattern with a flat profile especially suited to turf and road use. Also on show will be the A328 and A331 tubeless flotation tyres with good self cleaning characteristics suitable for on and off the road use for trailers, tractors, and large implements. The A328 has a high load capacity at low inflation pressures preventing damage to fields and crops. The A331 with its 40mm lugs fills a gap in the flotation market achieving the lowest possible soil damage with excellent grip. Both tyres have a strong flexible nylon construction ensuring long life.
The Alliance A550 is a 'MultiUse' tyre developed for specific applications on industrial, municipal and amenity tractors and backhoe loaders. The 'block' pattern provides a high number of blocks and rubber to void tread ratio enabling a long tread wear life and low rolling resistance to be achieved.
BKT is one of the premier manufacturers of 'Off Highway' tyres, offering a wide range which covers the agricultural, industrial, earthmover, ATV and turf care applications. The LG 306 which can be seen at Saltex is a tyre for lawn and garden applications. It has a flat tread profile with rounded shoulders and a flexible casing which provides a higher contact area for a long tread life, minimum damage in turf applications.
A selection of BKT tyres for ATV's can also be seen on the Kirkby stand - the AT108, AT109 and AT111 patterned tyres are for tough 'all terrain' use and have 2, 4 or 6 ply rating nylon casing for increased puncture resistance. They have a proven deep tread design and the natural rubber compound increases puncture resistance and extends tread life.
BKT can supply 'Armaturf' tyres with "ARAMID" belts which are puncture resistant. Armaturf tyres allow a flatter tyre tread with a wider tread contact area giving a long life and reduced turf damage.
