Kubota’s latest UTV has the X factor
Kubota is set to cement its position as leaders in the diesel-powered utility vehicle market with the launch of its latest model, the RTV-X900.

The RTV-X900 is fitted with a robust and powerful 21.6HP, 3-cylinder liquid cooled diesel engine, ensuring dependable performance in even the most challenging weather conditions or terrain. Variable hydraulic transmission has been improved, too, with a new advanced VHT-X, which offers a wider torque band and large coolers to boost performance and durability.
Kubota's unique dynamic braking, which provides additional braking power and greater driving control on descents, remains a key feature of the range, whilst the new model is fitted as standard with a high rigidity frame, which helps to isolate passengers from noise and vibrations whilst also ensuring the machine is durable enough to carry heavier loads. Limited-slip front differential and locking rear differential brakes help reduce wheel spin, allowing greater control in wet conditions.

Kubota's latest utility vehicle builds on the range's already impressive load and towing capability with an increased maximum capacity of one tonne, including a 15.2 cubic foot cargo bed. Loading and unloading is now far simpler too, with the addition of a hydraulic lift, allowing heavy loads to be dumped in seconds.
Adrian Langmead, Business Development Manager for Kubota Tractor & Groundcare commented on the launch. "The release of this latest model is a big step forward in the development of diesel-powered utility vehicles, and we've made a number of key changes to really step up the levels of performance and comfort.

"The radiator and air-intake is now located higher up and towards the front of the engine where air is cleaner and cooler, thus improving radiator performance and simplifying maintenance. The wide fin pitch design also minimises clogging, further improving radiator performance.
"Some of the biggest changes on the RTV-X900 have been made inside the cab, where we've introduced 60:40 split-bench seating; power steering; an easily accessible parking brake; generous under-seat storage compartments and a digital metre cluster with bright, easy-to-read instructions."
Fitted as standard with a ROPS frame modular cabin system, the RTV-X900 also features a vertical-opening front window for easy access to the cab and enhanced dumping. The new model also comes with numerous customization options including side doors for full protection from the elements; a heating and cooling system; and radio console - providing users with an optimum working environment.
