The latest addition to the Wessex ProLine family is the new FRX-150 front mounted flail mower.

Developed from the class leading TGX model, the new machine is designed to suit most leading brands of out front power units with PTO drive.

A flail mower is far more versatile than a rotary mower, offering you the benefit of not only leaving a good finish on short grass but also the facility to cut long growth occurring due to reduced cutting cycles.

This makes the FRX-150 a superb mower for cutting verges and serious contract work, where its strength and versatility can be fully realised.

It's the perfect match for the highly manoeuvrable power units so popular with the council and local authority contractor.

Fitted to a Ransomes, John Deere, Kubota, Iseki or New Holland, to mention but a few, the Wessex will leave a far superior cut on long grass than a rotary mower, which can produce an unsightly swathing finish.

The ContraFlow deck design ensures maximum suction effect for tackling the grass with efficient mulching, and the aerodynamic flails minimise power consumption.

What's more, the FRX-150 will operate efficiently on wet grass. Neat and compact in design, it is close-coupled to the power unit, minimising weight on the linkage, and features a full width anti-scalp roller with integral roller bearings.

Height adjustment of the roller and front wheels is simple and positive, the tyres are puncture proof and the deck is fully guarded to HSE specifications.

The new Wessex FRX-150 will be available for delivery in spring 2014 from Broadwood International. Call 01420 478111 or visit: www.broadwoodintl.co.uk
