Looking for Big Willy bits?
When Turfmech bought the manufacturing rights to some of the Allett Mower models in 2007, it left a number of machines from Allett's 45 year history in the market place, yet outside Turfmech's remit to supply parts back-up.
Now, Roy Allett, an original employee of the company his father began back in 1965, has set up RALA Spares, to offer parts back up on a whole range of models. These include:
Allett Models - Mk1, 2, 4 and 10, 36K and 36R, Aztec, Conqueror, Verge Star, Lawn Star, Park Star, Predator, Viceroy and Ranger Gang Mowers
Greens mower - Zephyr 20" & 24", Greensmaster 30" & 36" and Ranger Gang Mowers
RTS - Honest John, Little John, Triple John, Little Willy (don't laugh), Mid Willy, Big Willy (now you can), Hercules, Pedestrian Sorrel, Mounted Sorrel, Slitter 428 & 688 and Titan 6, 8 and 10 models.
Roy says "If you need any help or advice on these older machines or, indeed, the current range from Turfmech, just ask. If I'm not able to supply parts off the shelf I may, in certain circumstances, be able to have them manufactured for you. However, bearing in mind that some models will be approaching fifty years old, that is not always possible."
