The burning question at Saltex 2008.

P9043402abJPG.jpgThe question? 'Was the Turf Trooper the most photographed product at this years Saltex show?'

The reason? Autoguide reported nearly every visitor to its stand burnt a path to take a photograph of the new triple mower in its resplendent 2009 livery of
flames.

Despite the poor economic and weather conditions at Windsor this year, the outlook was sunny on the Autoguide stand where the 60in (150cm) cut triple
mower took pride of place.

Autoguide Managing Director Richard Robinson said, "Looks like we made the right decision to produce the Turf Trooper in the flaming livery. Many-a-
groundsman expressed a wish to book a ride on this hot machine and bookings for demonstrations are looking good."

A quiet low revving 13hp Briggs & Stratton engine powers the mower and drives three 7in (18cm) diameter six bladed cylinders and hydrostatic drive
ensures maximum manoeuvrability.

The Trooper can cut over two acres an hour and features an electric clutch with all steel bodywork for durability. The unit is still the most compact triple mower in the world with a cutting performance unmatched by the competition.

The cutting cylinders fold for storage and transport and the Trooper leaves a beautiful striped fine finish in the British tradition.

Automatic tensioned belts driving the cylinders closely follow ground contours with a 12mm-70mm height-of-cut adjustable in seconds.
