HTC18%20in%20sweeping%20modeOut on the golf course, caring for sports turf, sweeping and collecting leaves in parkland, there is a machine for all seasons that is all rolled into one. The Wessex ProLine HTC-18 collector is what you want it to be when you need a sweeper, a scarifier or a flail mower.

There is a strong argument for having one machine that does it all, not least from the cost perspective. You simply order it as either the sweeper, flail collector or scarifier and then change modes later with a function change kit. Here is a machine that is unchallenged by undulating golf course fairways, with its suspension system floating entirely independently of the tractor.

It wants to be the greenkeeper's best friend when it's scarifying, with its anti-scalp wheels, verti-cutting scarifying knives and fan blades for efficient collection of material. As a sweeper, four rows of hardwearing polypropylene bristles efficiently sweep and the debris is collected in the large hopper. The beauty of this is when it is tipping it's elevated to a 1.8m dumping height by a double stage hydraulic ram, then rotated through about 120° to discharge into a trailer or onto the ground.

HTC18 in scarifying modeWhen you want a flail mower you just replace the scarifying knives with the flail kit or use it in conjunction with the flails to do two jobs at once. The Wessex ProLine HTC-18 has a working width of 1.8m and with a starting price of a little over £12,000 plus VAT you have a truly professional all-rounder and the potential of three machines in one.
