The drawbar on the topper is adjustable for an even cut and can be offset to either side to cut outside the quad wheelbase. The engine drives a single blade bar which has a cutting height of between 60mm and 150mm approximately and the heavy duty blade itself generates excellent momentum to give an ideal cut to lush grass.
The machine comes with a simple height adjustment lifting device which allows the operator to lift one side of the machine with their foot, leaving both hands free to reposition the wheels; a clever and neat solution. The Wessex features a throttle lever that clicks onto the ATV rack for convenience and the centrifugal clutch allows the blade to be engaged and disengaged from the seat.
