Toro's new Multipro 5800-D a dedicated performer

The latest launch from Toro distributor Lely UK is the Toro MultiPro 5800-D, an advanced new dedicated sprayer.

Designed to deliver superior spray accuracy and precision, the MultiPro 5800-D features an innovative new Pro Control XP console that responds instantly to ensure the correct spray rate is applied from start to stop, pass after pass.

The sprayer's speedy response time is coupled with an exclusive six-diaphragm pump, an industry first. This unique pump has twice the flow to satisfy the highest of spray rates, together with aggressive agitation for optimum mixing of the 300 gallon (1,136 litre) tank's contents.

Toro has also simplified the chemical loading process, thanks to the 'Cleanload Eductor', which allows operators to safely load the tank without first mixing a slurry. And an automated fresh water rinse system for an on-the-fly triple rinse promises to save hours of clean-up time after the job is done.

The MultiPro 5800-D's standard boom can also be enhanced with optional, easily-attached accessories, such as the new lightweight Drift Reduction Boom Shroud, which extends 30.5cm/12in below the boom to minimise chemical drift in breezy conditions while retaining full functionality. Alternatively, there's the new Ultra Sonic Boom Leveling System, which automatically adjusts the boom to the correct spraying height in undulating turf conditions.

All this and the power of a 35.5hp (26.5kw) Kubota diesel engine to keep the sprayer operating at its best in hilly and undulating turf, even with a full tank. The result, says Toro, is the best performing turf sprayer on the market.
