Ideal for local authority groundsmen and forestry professionals, the SOLO 665, 675 and 681 direct-drive professional chainsaws combine the power of a high-torque engine with a light weight that allows for longer working periods.

Performance weights range from 1.85, 1.5 and 1.4 kg/kW for the 665, 675 and 681 respectively, with their high-torque SOLO single cylinder two-cycle engines, which deliver outstanding performance at lower speeds, providing further operator-friendly features in the form of reduced noise and vibration.

From top-spec arborist chainsaws to semi-professional and consumer models, SOLO's extensive chainsaw range also offers a 75 per cent reduction in emissions plus 20 per cent improvement in fuel economy on recommended levels and has been a European bestseller since its introduction in the late 1950s.

German manufacturer SOLO specialises in producing outdoor and gardening equipment - with its product portfolio also spanning brushcutters, hand-held and knapsack sprayers, hedge trimmers, blowers and accessories - to the highest of standards. Standing apart from mass-produced, cut-price products rife in the market, SOLO's philosophy is to offer groundscare professionals high-performance equipment that is built to last.
