Wiedenmann UK Gloucester Golf Club Open Day 2.jpgAround 20 greenkeepers, groundsmen and contractors gathered at The Gloucester Golf Club to see three different Wiedenmann tractor- mounted aerators put through their paces - the Terra Spike GXi, XD and XP. All attendees were customers of dealers TH White at Redditch and Knockdown, Tetbury, and the focus of the demonstration was to see the effects and uses first hand of different tine lengths, widths and spacings.

Chas Ayres, Wiedenmann UK's Area Sales Manager said:
"Days like these are really good. When you get a fairly large group together who work their turf day in, day out, there's always good crack and an exchange of ideas. Everyone comes away that bit more informed. Me included!

"We took full advantage of the Terra Spike's standard features "Quick Set", "Quick Heave" and "Quick Fit" which make tine changing and adjustments quick and easy. Changing tines takes less than 15 minutes. We tested 12mm, 20mm and 25mm diameter solid tines. Having different sets at your disposal can be infinitely useful and productive."
