PWS Service – Textural Size Distribution Analysis (PSD)
The mineral component of a soil is composed of different sized fractions. Commonly these are referred to as clay, silt and sand particles.
Knowing what percentage of your soil is made up of different sizes can help detect problems, enable recommendations for appropriate top-dressings and facilitate the most effective management.
A kit will be sent to you with full instructions on how to take your soil sample. A prepaid envelope is also supplied to send the soil sample to the independent laboratory.
The results will be emailed to you with guidance on how to interpret the results.

For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.
