Wembley groundsman Steve Welch and his team are already working round-the-clock to make improvements to the pitch before England's crucial Euro 2008 qualifiers in September.
Faced with criticism with how badly it cut up during the FA Cup final and the England v Brazil match on Friday, Welch is trying to rectify some of the problems.
He is confident the pitch will settle down over the summer months as he has longer to work on it following the recent run of games.
