Bowlers and their wits end over rainwater problems
A 100-year-old plus Brechin sporting institution is finding the increasingly wetter winters highly problematic and the silence from the local authority increasingly deafening, as it faces a constant battle to dry out greens, clubhouse and the car park in an effort to entice people into the premises.
Members of the Parkview Bowling Club have had an on-going debate with Angus Council for the last eight years regarding drainage adjacent to the premises at the foot of the public park.
